Oshogatsu, a festival welcoming the New Year, is one of Japan’s most important annual festivals. Join us at the Children’s Museum to celebrate 2015, the Year of the Sheep. Following our performance will be a shi-shi-mai (lion dance) and parade with taiko accompaniment.

Join us for Needham New Year’s, a family-friendly celebration featuring music, comedy, dance, activities, and great food, from afternoon through New Year’s Eve. Bring the kids for the Institute of Contemporary Art’s Play Date: Creating Wonderful Worlds. Once a month the ICA fills with activities for kids and adults to do together and Odaiko New England will be a part of it this July! The event runs from noon to 3pm.

“Admission is FREE for up to 2 adults per family when accompanied by children ages 12 and under. Youth 17 and under are always admitted free to the ICA.”

Join us at North Quincy high school for their 2020 Lunar New Year Festival with food, contests, family fun, lion dance and taiko!  The festival runs from 11am to 4pm.  Odaiko New England will perform at 3:30pm.  Admission and parking is free.
