- Gamelan Galak Tka‘s demonstration of the music of Bali and Indonesia on Gamelan (gongs, drums, flutes and cymbals)
- Cornell Coley‘s tracing of the rhythms of Africa from Africa to America
Odaiko New England performs at 1:00pm and 5:40pm and our workshop will be at 3:50pm. Admission is free.
Come light up the night with food, fire and music from all over the world with Somerville Art Council’s “Ignite! With roving performers, crafts and games, food vendors, and stage performances from cultures all over the world, it is an event sure to be a feast of sights, sounds and actual food.
The event is free, but the Somerville Arts Council has a suggested donation of $1.
