Abigail Coakley has performed with Odaiko New England in "A Taiko Journey" at Springstep in November 2008, in our 15th Anniversary Concert: reVISION in May 2009, and in Pangaea, the University of Rhode Island's Roots Music Series in October 2009.

Abby Coakley has been dancing for 24 years. She is trained in Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Tap, Modern, Creative Movement and Yoga. She attended Emerson College where she earned a degree in Dance Theater and a minor in Theatre Education. She currently works at the Sarah Greenwood School as a full time dance teacher and has been teaching in the Boston Public School system for the past six years. She is also a faculty member at Roxbury Community College.

In 2007 Abby founded The Endless Knot Dance Collective which is a Boston based dance company. The EKDC has presented work at Mass College of Art and Roxbury Community College. Abby’s work is based on her training in the Graham, Cunnigham and Horton techniques. She is the co-founder of The Endless Knot Arts Festival, which is a collaboration of work in the community including belly dancers, musicians, poets, drummers and painters to name a few. She is also currently starting a career as a massage therapist.
